Death Grip Electric, Inc. is a grip and lighting rental company based in Omaha, Nebraska. The company is owned by cinematographer Michael Lang and editor Corey Hart. Together they plan on aggressively marketing the company, expanding it’s inventory in the midwest and opening another location in the Los Angeles market in the near future.
The “grip truck” is a 1992 Sayers & Scoville Cadillac Hearse. The Hearse sits on 24 inch chrome rims and has been customized to accommodate the lighting gear. The vehicle has been coined “Baby Lugosi” in the grand tradition of interesting grip and lighting terminology. Included with the vehicle is a brand new stereo system with an ipod dock, alarm system, heating and air conditioning. You have to see it in person to believe it!
